Great Product
I had to replace my old ionizer/air filter and found this item. The filter does say its a Hepa Filter and I like the fact this gave a cadr rating when a lot don't. This has 3 settings. I keep it on 2. It is quite on 1 and 2 but a little noisy on 3. At night when all the lights are out there is a slight glow from the power button but nothing major. I do find I am sleeping better since I got this. I am actually considering buying another one for my living room, but I would need the bigger one (Homedics AF-100).
For the bedroom the 75 is more then enough.
Clean air...
This unit is rather quiet on the lowest fan setting, which is definitely acceptable. The middle setting is a bit noisy and the highest setting is definitely loud. I used the middle fan speed for about a week to get the air "clean", and reduced it to the low setting. It's hard to tell if the filtration makes a difference, but if the filter shows accumulation of debris, then I'll be pleased. I haven't had the unit long enough to warrant checking the filter.
I really like the size of the air cleaner, especially since it is in a bedroom without a lot of side wall floor space.
